Driving through "El Vale Ituerto"... it's like a little Grand Canyon :)
The road to El Rasillo, a little town on a lake, where we were staying for two nights...
In an apartment at this lovely rural hotel.
We had our own garden... complete with a swing for Lorcan :)
We left our bags and headed straight for the lake...
We love lazy holidays :)
Down the hill to El Rasillo... and the lake...
The boys were convinced there was some sort of dinosaur-lake-monster living here... but that didn't stop them from going in for a swim.
Swimming out to the floating slide and diving boards was all part of the fun. Months later, Liam still talks about this place.
There were plenty of other kids to befriend and play with!
Whilst others just sat on the towel and watched from afar...
By evening time we were all a little reluctant to leave...
But we still had time for a stroll around the tiny town of El Rasillo...
And some more refreshment.
