Teddy's whipped ice-creammmmmm!

Savoured whilst enjoying the fresh sea breeze..

Yes!
Walking it off... Walking the line.
No, I can't resist including another seaview photo!

Kicking and catching in Kilbogget

Malachy's had a mishap with his middle finger!

He slammed a door on it and, although the nail looked okay, it was actually broken further down. It got infected and he had to have it drained under general anaesthetic at the Children's Hospital. He stayed overnight (with Mummy) and was extremely brave throughout the entire ordeal.

No sooner was he home with his brothers when he was back in his usually goofy good spirits!

keeping it real

tooth fairy time!

Back in February, after a few wobbly days, Liam lost his first tooth. He since lost the one next to it and his big new teeth are currently growing fast! And, yes, the tooth fairy came... and was very generous too!

28 April 2008

an ordinary day

On this particular day, Liam had a half day from school, so he went with Daddy and Lorcan on their routine trip to pick up Malachy from preschool...

With Albha, one of Malachy's school buddies.

And then, for a walk... hmmm which way now?

Cabinteely park and playground, of course!

a whole lot of heart

Valentine's Day is long gone now... but here is a flashback to the yummy heart love we had around here back on February 14th...

walking and watching

Walking the trail from Johnstown behind Pottery Road to Deansgrange on any given February day... with the boyos.

Coming back the long way round.

When we got home, our second cousin Killian was visiting our Granny with his Granny (they're sisters) so he came in for a play and some laughs.

Killian is just a few months older than Liam, the first in a long string of boys in the family!

After all the walking and playing that day, cartoons were in order: Looney Tunes always get good laughs!

21 April 2008

a few little boys... and lots of daisies

We got a few freak days of sunny weather back in late January (some sunnier than the "early spring" weather we're getting now in April!!)... so we made the most of them at the park... picking daisies!

And just exploring...

Lorcan snacked on a gherkin or two
(see it there clutched in his little hand?)

(there's that gherkin again!)
(and again...)

(and AGAIN!!!)

Afterwards daisy day became even more fun when we hooked up with our friends Declan and Lia, and their boys Tadhg and Patrick (new baby Liam was just a bump then!!!) and went for a walk through the woods.

Liam and Tadhg on top of the world... and Malachy working his way up!

Triumph!

Budding aizkolari?

Patrick refuelling

Malachy eating a kiwi-pop, mmmm

Then we all just hung around for a while...
