colours of Kinsale

Kinsale has got to be the most colourful town we have visited. Even though the Spring weather was very changeable and sometimes the sky was a gloomy grey, the colourful sights about town brightened everything up!

signs and things...

streets and buildings...

harbour views...

So, our arrival into Kinsale was a little wet and dreary, but we soon made it our business to get to know the town anyway.

Lorcan, as usual, was more interested in the local canine company!

We stopped for refreshments at a local pub.

And did some role-reversal in the buggie department ;)

Lorcan thought this painted milk churn was the best percussion instrument ever!

We asked some locals to point us to the nearest playground and were happy to find it had a brilliant extra-wide slide!

And several other swingy, rocky things too.

Cool slide, or what?

Up at the playground, Lorcan befriended yet another dog... and its owners!

Down the hill to the town, we made our way around the harbour. It's all really very pretty.
