As you may have noticed by now, we get great mileage out of playtime in our garden (when the weather stays dry, ahem). Luckily, whilst abuela was here the weather stayed lovely so she enjoyed watching the boys do their thing....
For the life of me I do not recall exactly what Liam was up to but you can bet it involved somebody trapping somebody else and saving them from and/or getting them into grave danger... just for fun.

Malachy is our 'patient', 'careful', 'focused' king of concentration. So making delicate card castles with Abuela was right up his street.

These cards are Spanish "naipes"... very confusing for people used to poker card suits!
Thankfully, he hasn't discovered the concept of gambling just yet!
