visitors from Barcelona...

Back in April, our friends Silvia, Amadeu, Aina and Arnau came to visit us from Barcelona! They stayed for 5 days and we had a lot of fun together.

Our first little outing was a walk to Cabinteely park (of course!)... to show them our usual playing territory.

Aina and Liam have known each other since "the beginning", meeting at the baby group we used to go to in our old neighbourhood in Barcelona. That was almost 6 years ago now!!! Wow... how time flies!

Silvia and Amadeu found the Irish springtime a little chilly compared to what they're used to!

Hanging out with old friends :)

And nurturing new ones...

Getting to know the neighbourhood...

And the other parks in the vicinity...

Arnau and Malachy are the same age too...

And, although this guy didn't have a visiting same-age playmate, he certainly didn't seem to care!

We did some group artwork at home...

And we splashed in some puddles outside.

We danced...

We climbed trees....

And we went on a day-trip to Howth...

...by train!
(stop that, Liam!)

We had wine and oysters at Beshoffs!

Did some fish and seafood shopping at Wrights.

Saw these humungous giant prawns!!

(that's MY hand!)

We hung out in the port...

Saw the seals swimming by the pier...

Took a walk to build up an appetite...

Watched the fishermen at work...

And posed for the camera ;)

We found a nice restaurant for dinner (with this cool leather padded lift!)

Enjoyed fish, chips, mussels and cuddles...

And got a chocoloate treat for the train ride home!

We stopped off for coffee in Dalkey, where sightseeing was cut short due to rain :(

The weather brightened up on their last day... so we went back to Kilbogget for one last stroll.

We said our fond farewells and then off they flew, back to Barcelona.

Bye for now guys! It was really nice having here.
