Carmen came all the way from La Provençe (where she lives in a beautiful town called Berbentane: http://www.provenceweb.fr/f/bouches/barbentane/barbentane.htm that we hope to visit this summer) and Marije all the way from Bilbao to visit us for a long weekend over the Easter break. Liam and Malachy love having visitors! Malachy and Marije developed a mutual soft spot for each other and Liam developed a great bond with Swann, Carmen's dog (a lovely black Spanish water dog). Chili (our cat) on the other hand was a tad put out with our canine guest -Liam got quite a fright when he saw her hiss at Swann: "Cats don't like dogs, Mammy", he quickly deduced!
