Our time in Asturias was coming to an end, so we went back into Ribadesella for one last visit. The summer festivities were underway and there was a cool kid's play area set up in a square in town! They had all sorts of fun toys for all the kids to try out and share.Stuff to ride...

to fling around (or whatever it is you're supposed to do with a diabolo)...
... more bouncing...and there were also stilts, a giant Connect 4 and funny 4-wheeled skate-type things that were impossible to balance on!
Afterwards, we headed towards the port...
...stopping to view the stalls along the way
... and drool over the goodies ;)
we got ourselves some refreshments,
...and then treated ourselves to these cute handmade clay necklaces as a souvenir of our holiday!The paleolithic horse for Malachy, a dinosaur footprint for Liam, the circle of life for me and the scallop shell of Santiago for Jaime.
The best part of that day? The Pirate Market being held in the port of Ribadesella!!
