Liam's got "glue ear" (a build-up of fluid behind the eardrum) and the ear, nose and throat specialist recommended we take him to the beach and "dunk" him as often as possible this summer because the salt water helps to clear the fluid out.
This photo shows the look on Liam's face after his first dunking session!! Funnily enough though, about half an hour later he was in the playground boasting to the other little boys about how he can swim and dunk his own head under the water!
Now, one month later, he does his own dunking and loves it. We can't get him out of the water at the beach each day!!
