Lorcan 4 mths

At that age, he fell asleep just about anywhere!

This was taken just days before his two bottom teeth peeped out!

He graduated from his 'Moses basket' cradle into his big cot!

lil' Laura

Laura is Cole kid number 3! She had fun playing at our place and basically doing her own thing...
At one stage she walked into the swing (while her big sister was one it... oops!). The bang made her pretty little nose bleed... awww...
But in a flash she was all better and playing away again!
Look at those big brown eyes!

Cole kids visit

This is Annie Cole, the newest girl in the Cole clan! My old friend Shona, who lives in Magnolia, Texas, was back home in Dublin with her family for a long summer holiday this year. Our kids had good fun playing around when they visited! They're all gorgeous kids but if there was a prize going for the biggest smile, Annie would win it hands down!

Lily would just swing and swing forever...

fairy girls and coloured balls!

back in town

Things have changed a LOT since I last lived in Dublin (13 years ago back in 1993). This here behind Jaime is the Luas -new 'light rail'. Two lines running into town -one from Sandyford (near where we live) to Stephen's Green.

"In the name of the hundred acre wood..."

happy picnicking in the hundred acre wood (i.e. Cabinteely park)

why are kids so cute in summer hats?!

Liam found some dandelion seedheads and so we all had a blow and made our wishes...

We used to call these 'piss in the beds'...! Posted by Picasa

the garden!

This is the view from our kitchen window. I love it!, particularly on sunny days like this!

We had some great weather in August and the kids played and sprayed the garden hose, taking care of our lovely green lawn, our flowers and the great vegetable garden that granny and grandad planted for us!

We all love the swing and slide set!

Jacqui gave Malachy (her godson!) this great tent and tunnel set for his 2nd birthday! Here are the boys chilling out and doing some garden reading... Posted by Picasa

boys, boys, boys...

Malachy climbing out of his high chair (as usual)!
Lorcan getting a squeeze!
I know this isn't the first time I've posted a pic of Liam on the loo!! It's just that he spends sooooooo much time there! For him there's no such thing as a quick visit to the loo... it's all about sitting and thinking and talking and talking and singing and talking some more....

This is Great Granddad! He and Malachy have really hit it off!

Liam went to summer camp at Rathdown school every morning for 3 weeks in August. He learned all about football and hockey and did dancing and singing and chasing and all kinds of cool kid games, which he later taught us at home! "What time is it Mr. Wolf" is definitely a big favourite. This is him getting ready to go to camp one morning -and Malachy in his 'jimmy jammers' seeing him off!
